About IITH
Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is one of the six new generation Indian Institutes of Technology that was established by the Govt. of India in 2008. The institute is built on a magnificent 578 acres of land, housing nearly 200 state-of-the-art laboratories and 5 research and entrepreneurship centers. It is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 which aims to bring the streams of arts and sciences together. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has ranked IIT Hyderabad No. 8 and No. 1 among the second generation IITs. IIT Hyderabad also ranks high in Atal Innovation Rankings (ARIIA) with a ranking of No. 7, rubbing shoulders with the first generation IITs.
Alumni and Corporate Relations (ACR) Office
The Alumni and Corporate Relations (ACR) Office at IIT Hyderabad works to build and strengthen strategic partnerships with alumni, corporates, and the broader community. It is led by Dean - Prof. Mahendra Kumar Madhavan, who oversees both alumni engagement and corporate collaboration activities.
Alumni Relations
Alumni are key stakeholders and long-term partners in the growth of IIT Hyderabad. The ACR Office nurtures this relationship by organizing reunions, alumni meets, networking events, and regular communications. Alumni are encouraged to contribute their Time, Talent, and Treasure, supporting the Institute’s initiatives in academics, mentorship, infrastructure, and innovation.
Corporate Relations
The Corporate Relations of ACR is dedicated to building and sustaining meaningful partnerships with industries and organizations. It plays a vital role in fostering CSR collaborations that align with both national priorities and the developmental goals of the institution. In addition, it actively facilitates research partnerships and explores funding opportunities to support innovation and academic growth.
